I like Andres classes; he manages his classes really well while still being personable. I had him for Japanese.

I have taken the following classes with Andres 先生: 1) Introduce Yourself Well in Japanese and 2) Making Plans in Japanese. Andres 先生 gets you to have a conversation in no time, even beginner students! His classes are fun, and he comes to each lesson well prepared with an informative lesson. He is extremely knowledgeable about the Japanese language and their culture since he lives in Japan, and can answer any question you ask him. I can't wait for him to start teaching some higher level classes! よくできました！

There are a lot of great things about Andres being your Japanese tutor, but my favorite is that he knows what will be not only educational, but super useful and interesting, too. Because he lives in Tokyo, he hears real Japanese on a daily basis and knows the things you'll need to learn to make it Japan--things you won't necessarily learn from textbooks. He's also really interested in Japanese history and culture, so sometimes he knows really cool etymologies or facts about usages that help you remember vocabulary and grammar. Besides Japanese, I've taken a couple Spanish lessons from him as well, as he's also great there. Because he's a native English speaker as well as a native Spanish speaker, he knows exactly what points people like me (who only speak English) will need to work on to understand and speak good Spanish. Besides his incredible linguistic skills, he's also a great teacher--nice, patient, friendly, and helpful
