Music inspires! Everyone has a favorite musician, group, or instrument. Some people dance to music; some people relax to music. Some people play music; some people work to music. Some people perform music; some people compose music. Music is the international language. It speaks to everyone.

Let’s spend an hour and discuss music. Do you play the pipa? Harp guitar? Koto? Are ragas your music of choice? Rock? Jazz? Cumbia? Do you compose, perform, or just enjoy music?

Bringing cultures together through music is the goal of my company, Classrooms Without Walls.

We will discuss all types of music. I will introduce some different types of musical instruments and musical styles. The goal for this discussion is for the students to drive this class.
