These classes will be helpful for beginners, who are starting with Hindi, as well as for those who already know something of spoken Hindi — from friends or Hindi movies — and are now willing to learn the ability of reading and writing it.

Devanagari script is used not only for Hindi but for other languages too, like Sanskrit. So once you know the script you may also start learning Sanskrit with me.

The classes will be structured [see the syllabus below] - notes and study material will be provided to all the attendees. We will also do revisions and review of the lessons.

In these classes you will learn the script used for Hindi called Devanagari. It is arranged phonetically and is very easy to learn.

Phonetics of Devanagari, Vowels and Consonants all will be covered in the classes.

Basic Vocabulary will also be done.

We will also practice in the class, in the form of dictations.

After the script course you will be able to read as well as write any word in Hindi, I will also share some useful website links with you to help you progress further.

Intermediate Students

You must be willing to commit to the course and attend the alternate day classes in order to keep pace with the group.

I will help each attendee if you attend the class with a headset. Using a headset will help you in learning the right pronunciation. Each attendee will get time to practice in the class.
