A place for people to practice their skills for real-time online communications.

Improve your self-confidence and analytical skills with a very loose structure that you are a part of, not just an audience to. The meeting will be a combination of a Toastmaster International meeting and a Bar Camp. It is hosted in a Web2.0 platform and we want to keep it that way.

structure of the 60 minute meeting:

Before the meeting we’ll choose what topics we want to hear.
If you want to present, you must PM your PPT and any other file to share to the meetings leader (me for now).

We’ll fill-up the 1 hour meeting with presentations and any tips to improve from the audience. All presentations will be more than 5 minutes but not more than 7. Learning to respect time constraints is helpful since we have to learn to fit our presentations at edufire into the alloted time.

Any time left will be dedicated to impromptu speeking where people in the audience will be asked random questions to answer for more than 1 minute but not more than 2. This is a fun game that gives people who haven’t spoke a chance to chime in if they want.
