This class is for Golden Sisters who took Golden Hiragana Samurai in the past and Golden brothers who took Kanna’s Japanese class. Think of it as a reunion. :-}

Week 5: this week is all about review, review, review! we’ll be drilling all of those useful phrases for traveling around japan so that we can recall and produce (say) them with increasing levels of ease.

Below is a sample of the normal flow of the class for reference.

the plan is to focus on one discipline + speaking per class, e.g. reading + speaking in the 1st class of the week, listening + speaking/reading in the 2nd.

in the 1st class, get & be ready to read and recite. “recite what?”, you ask. if you like surprises, come and find out!

one must have taken a class by Kanna or Jamila, and had a positive AND respectful attitude in order to fully participate. Also, have the willingness to avoid using the word ‘not’.

(relatively) new students are welcome to observe and play the flashcard sets that will be shared in class.
