Questions on the Introductory Psychology examination require you to demonstrate at least one of the following abilities:
- Knowledge of terminology, principles, and theory
- Ability to comprehend, evaluate, and analyze problem situations
- Ability to apply knowledge to new situations

The subject matter of the Introductory Psychology examination is drawn from the 13 purple topics found here. The percentage of exam questions is approximately pretty even across all subjects at around 7-9% each. However, Learning is weighted highest at 10-11% whereas Statistics, Tests and Measurement is weighted the lowest at 3-4%. Despite this, I fully recommend you make every attempt to learn each area fully.

Prerequisites

This course is aimed to towards a college level exam so you should be prepared to study at this level. It is expected that you attend all classes, although if you are not able to, the 13 core modules (see table here ) are an absolute minimum.

Previous knowledge of Psychology would be an advantage though not necessary.
