This class is for those who’d like to be introduced to music from all over the world. It is meant to be just-for-fun – we can’t cover enough songs to accurately represent even one of the cultures, but if you like something, you will have a band name to look up.

Every time we will listen to a couple popular songs from that culture and also look at the lyrics and translate them and possibly discuss a little.

I will only cover music that I’m reasonably familiar with. If you want to tackle other cultures, please copy this class but let me know – I would like to find more interesting artists as well.

Since most people who sign up will probably only be there for one session, I will clone this class rather than indicate several meetings.
