This class was designed for people who don’t know about Twitter at all and want to try it out, or for people who just don’t get what it’s all about.

Here’s a quick definition from Wikipedia:
Twitter is a social networking and micro-blogging service that enables its users to send and read other users’ updates known as tweets. Tweets are text-based posts of up to 140 characters in length. Updates are displayed on the user’s profile page and delivered to other users who have signed up to receive them.

We will be going over:
-Ways twitter is used
-Why it’s more than just “what are you doing”
-How to find and follow people
-How to do @replies
-How to use #hashtags
-How to do direct messages
-Some applications that make Twitter a better experience.

I’ll also have some time for questions and answers after class is over.
