About Class

ALL Languages Welcome to the Premiere!

This is a place to…
*mainly Practice Speaking the languages we’re learning, teaching, or have know all of our lives…learning by doing
*Come Together, Students & Tutors alike, in an informal setting to just…BE ourselves, sharing our highs, lows, and advice. Think of the forums…out loud.
*possibly meet a tutor or student we’d like to work w/ in the future…BONUS!

<in Marco C’s voice> “FANTASTIC”.
<subliminal message to Marco…believe that it’s fantastic…believe that it’s fantastic>

We’ll open with the 2 videos below. After that, it’s up to us what we talk about and how to do so. However, the Main Point…is to support each other in becoming Golden in our ability to Speak in our target languages and create even more golden relationships.

Also for our benefit are a few links below. We’ll decide together if, when, and how we want to use these articles. And if anyone knows how to get these translated, or would like to translate them together, let me/us know.

Lastly…
This week, my (immediate) family’s ‘Family Day’ happens to be on this same day, so I’ll be on the lookout for a co-host to keep things going, in case people want to continue talking after I depart.

Note: If anyone’s wondering, saying, “Jamila, how we can have all languages together in one class?” Think ‘breakout rooms’…or simultaneous translation in the chat as a practice of listening comprehension & writing skills. Genius…

First time hearing about breakout rooms? Here, you may get to find out what they are and how they work.
