This course introduces students to the rules and concepts of playing Dungeons and Dragons 4th Edition. The first few classes will be dedicated to learning the essentials of playing the game from both sides of the Dungeon Master (DM) and as a Player. Students will of course be expected to own or purchase copies of the core rulebooks: 4th Edition Dungeon Master’s Guide, 4th Edition Player’s Handbook, and 4th Edition Monster Manual. In lieu of the cost of materials, this class will be free, but with limited seating.

John said: Just to remind all participants, if you plan on showing up to the June 2nd class, come prepared with a character concept! We will be working on different interpretations and concepts within the basic rules.
A character concept is more than a physical appearance and should include at least an outline of the function the character plays in combat (Leader, Defender, Striker, or Controller), choice of weapons, and intention of progression. posted 5 months ago
