  not sure it is really for complete beginners-- I found it a little fast paced for those who never had experience--but with a lot of effort after class I kept up, there needs to be a level before this for the REAL basics like pronunciation and more use of romaji at the beginning level, I took this after one level of Japanese and found it a good review Posted by Karen on Wednesday Feb 4
