Another in an ongoing series of free Songs & Lyrics classes!

These classes provide an opportunity to practice English listening, reading, and conversational skills.

We continue with songs of The Beatles. We listen also to the songs of musical artists who influenced The Beatles and to artists who have been influenced by them.

When we listen closely to popular music, we can hear many influences and fusions. When we read song lyrics while listening, we can better understand the artist, the era, the culture, and the genre, or multiple genres, from which the song originates.

Class description & details:

• Slideshow presentation at beginning of session.
• Selected songs to be played!
• Song lyrics appear on-screen during songs.
• Live performances are welcomed! (Jam session on Skype, anyone?)
• Intermediate-level English skills helpful, but not necessary.
• Microphone and webcam not required.
• Participation using mic & typing in Chat box encouraged!
