This is a foundations class for those interested in the visual arts: drawing, painting, graphic design, and so forth.

When pursuing the arts, one must start with the basics. It’s important to understand the elements of design to improve one’s art, and to appeal to the human eye.

This class will discuss color, line, texture, form, value, and composition. In any artistic classes you take, you’re required to study these principles while preparing to create art.
