Welcome to Beginning Mandarin Chinese! First we’ll learn Hanyu Pinyin (a writing system using the Latin alphabet to transcribe Chinese), then we’ll get started on characters, vocabulary, and grammar.
It’s definitely much easier if you have the textbook (for reference), which is Level I, Book I of the Integrated Chinese (IC) series, my personal favourite Chinese textbook series.
Also, I’m definitely willing to supplement with private lessons at a discounted rate for regular students!
I’m not sure about demand for this class, so I’ve only set times until August. I’ll add more dates if there is demand!
