This will be a four part class. Part 1 of this class will cover events from the landing at Jamestown, Virginia in 1607 to the ratification of the United States Constitution in 1789. Part 2 will cover events from 1789 to 1861 (the outbreak of the Civil War). Part 3 will cover events from 1861 to 1917 (the US joins WWI). And Part 4 will cover events from 1917 to Today. It is a lot of history to cover in 4 sessions, but while it will be difficult to cover all events, I will try to cover all significant ones.

Keep in mind that I have no webcam… so you won’t be able to stare at my average-looking face for an hour. I’m sorry. I will have lots of powerpoint presentations, though!
