  Valerie is an extremely gifted tutor who has the ability to put her students at ease. She was able to keep my attention and is an excellent communicator. She responded to everyone's questions in a timely manner and took the time to help everyone understand the concepts of what she was teaching. I am looking forward to taking more classes from Valerie not only for learning the topics she is teaching but for learning the art of conducting an online tutoring session.   Very good introduction. Some minor suggestions: It would help to use the cursor/pointer more during the talk so we can stay in sync which place on screen is being referred. There were some problems with the technology at the session I attended but Valerie stayed calm and kept us all moving forward.
