This class will cover the following kanji:
Numbers 1-10, 100, 1000, day/sun/Japan, moon/month, fire, water, tree, gold/money, soil, above, and below.
These are the first twenty-one kanji taught in schools in Japan, and it is my belief that they know what they’re doing over there!
Each session will last for at least 45 minutes. We may run over that time period, but if you need to leave at 45 minutes, that’s fine. I do ask, though, that you don’t sign up if you can’t stay for at least most of the time.

Requirements
Some sort of microphone and speakers. I highly suggest using a headset, but if you don’t have access to one, that’s OK.
Pen and paper. This sounds silly for an online class, but I’d like you to practice writing each kanji as we cover it.

Is this course for me?
Only you can know if you’re ready to learn kanji. However, I do ask that you contact me before registering for the class. We will talk about your abilities and figure out if you’re ready. This is a small class, so I would really like to speak with you before you commit.

I can’t come at the scheduled times!
