This is a side class to my general United States History class that I teach on Mondays.

In my presentations in the general class, I talk mostly about the influential men of the time, but not the women. So in this class, I will solely be going over influential women of the United States. Topics shall range from women’s rights to First Ladies to female authors to civil rights advocates and beyond.

While this is an independent class, it is important to understand the time periods that these women lived in, so I highly recommend that you also sign up for my general US history class, if you have not already.

This class will take place 30 minutes after my general class ends. I do not plan to talk for the whole hour, so there will be plenty of time for discussion.
