I will be conducting Introduction to Chinese Characters on Feb 27. The main focus for this lesson will be on recognizing some simple Chinese Characters and how to use them.

We will learn characters/words with less than 5 strokes for each character in the following categories:
1. numbers
2. animals
3. nature
4. people
5. directions

This class is for beginners with no prior knowledge.

-Understand and speak English

1. Introduction to Chinese as a pictorial language
2. Learn to write more than 10 Chinese Characters
3. Forming short phrases

Please get ready paper and pen/pencil for the lesson as it will be easier for you to learn how to write on paper. I will illustrate the strokes using the whiteboard on the platform. We will share each other’s writings randomly. Sit back and have fun for this lesson.
