in this course, we will discuss the history of Iran, its Islamic revolution and the Islamic movements and revolution everywhere in the world. we will even talk about the extremist movements like Bin Laden, Taliban in Afghanistan and others. it is an important course for those who are trying to understand the political Islamic movements everywhere in our modern world. this is a full course, not a one time thing, for serious knowledge seekers only. join me to know more about what is going on today in our world

Syllabus

we will discuss the following topic;
what is Islam?
the Islamic revolution in Iran
the history of bin laden and al-ka’eda
the birth of Taliban in Afghanistan
Taliban in Pakistan
Muslim brotherhood in the Arab world
Wahhabi movement in Saudi Arabia
Hamas , the Islamic movement in Gaza, Palestine

Prerequisites

interest in the Islamic revolutions
interest in Iran
interest in history in general
the ability to understand spoken English
a mic is needed if you would like to participate in the discussion, otherwise it is not a must.
