PRIZES – Yes, this class has wonderful prizes. During the class, we will be giving out:
*4 eduFire T-shirts
*1 Month free SuperPass Subscription
*4 Coupons to take lessons on eduFire
*Possible Surprise Gift!
Rules: We are doing an experiment and raising the max attendance rate to something higher than 100. Please help us test this, we need over 100 people to join the class in order to do so! Also, there is a possibility that only the first 100 people will be able to get into the class – you can show up 30 minutes early to ensure a spot, though hopefully the experiment will work out and everyone will get in.
If you don’t know what Twitter is, make sure you sign up and get yourself an account before we get started (oh, and get out from under your rock).
In this class we won’t be covering the complete basics of Twitter – instead, we’ll be diving into “Twitter Theory,” going over a thirty day process that will get you 1001 high-quality Twitter followers. We aren’t going to be looking at black-hat Twitter schemes that get you 10,000 low-quality followers, instead, we want to get as many engaged interested followers as possible.
So why do I need followers?
Twitter is a great way to network, gain authority, and help your business (teacher on eduFire, perhaps?). The more followers you have, the more clout you have in the Twitterverse! Twitter followers are people that could potentially be customers, help you find work, or connect you with someone amazing! It’s incredible what users on Twitter can do for you! It’s all about networking!
If you have any questions, please feel free to message me, and I’ll get back to you right away!
If you have any requests, please feel free to put them up on the Class Wall! (down below)
If you don’t have a Twitter account already, make sure you start one up before the class! You can follow @edufire, @tofugu“, and @boxtofu” if you want to be a brown-noser, too :)
At the end of the presentation you’ll get a 30-day road-map to guide you on your Twitter way.
This is normally a 4 week course, but today we’re going to try and fit everything into one single course.
Part 1: The Quantity
Part 2: The Social
Part 3: The Content
Part 4: The Buzz
We’ll go through 30 things you can try over a 30 day period to build your Twitter followers. Not everyone will get 1001 Twitter followers, but some will! I’ve taught this class twice, and I probably have had approximately 10 people hit the magic 1000 mark without using a black-hat Twitter scheme.
At the end of the class, you’ll get a PDF with the road-map. Gotta show up to class to get it.
1. Sign up for a Twitter Account
2. A general knowledge of Twitter is required. You must know how to Tweet, Reply, and direct message people. If you don’t know how to do this, a quick Google search will get you the answer!

Looking forward to it and thank you for the invite.
On the side note: The 'automatic' clock only works when you are logged in.
Otherwise it does not give you the correct time.

Noel said: I'm becoming a bit of a fan of Twitter. I'm a business broker - I rep publishing companies to buyers interested in expanding by acquisition - and am in the process of making my first sale that resulted from a Twitter contact. I'm not much interested in the social media side of Twitter, but am interested in the business side. I have 900-plus followers and 1,000-plus following - mostly people in the publishing/writing trade. Took your Twitter course a month or two ago and built from there. A refresher would be helpful. posted about 1 month ago
