SO now that you know how to conjugate -AR verbs in the present tense, you should also know that there are 2 other types of verbs in Spanish.

ER & IR VERBS!!! THE EVIL ONESSS!!!!

How to conjugate -er/-ir verbs.I like to think of -er/-ir verbs as domestic partners.

I like to think of -er/-ir verbs as domestic partners because they are so alike, they like to do a lot of things together, yet they aren't always so similar.

ER
yo -o
tú -es
él/ella/usted -e
nosotros -emos
vosotros -éis
ellos/ustedes -en

IR
yo -o
tú -es
el/ella/usted -e
nosotros -imos
vosotros -ís
ellos/ustedes -en

SO REALLY, in the present tense, all you have to worry about is the nosotros and vosotros tenses being different! That's easy, right? ¡Está chupao! Let's do some example conjugations!

poner - to put
yo pongo (irregular yo form)
tú pones
él/ella/usted pone
nosotros ponemos
vosotros ponéis
ellos/ustedes ponen

salir - to exit
yo salgo (irregular yo form)
tú sales
el/ella/usted sale
nosotros salimos
vosotros salís
ellos/ustedes salen
