        How to introduce yourself in Standard Arabic

كَيْفَ تُقَدِمُ نَفْسُكَ بِاللُّغَةِ الْعَرَبِيَّة

       Kayfa tokaddemo nafsoka belloghate alarabiah

السَّلامُ عَلَيْكُم

Peace be upon you=Assalamu alaykom.

أهْلاً وَ سَهْلاً

Hello=Ahlan wa sahlan.

أنَا إسْمِى مُحَمَّد

My name is Mohamed=Ana esmi Mohammad.

أنا عِنْدِى إثْنَانْ وَ ثَلاثُونَ عامًا

I'm 32 years old=Ana endy ethnan wa thalathona aman.

أنا مِنْ الأَسْكَنْدَرِيَّةِ بِمِصْر  

I'm from Alexandria in Egypt=Ana men Alaskandariah bemisr.

  أنا أَعْمَلُ مُهَنْدِسٌ مَدَنِىٌّ بِشَرِكَةِ مُقَاوَلات

I work as a civil engineer in a construction business company= Ana a'malo mohandeson madaney besharekat mokawalaat.

أنا مُتَزَوِجٌ وَ عندى وَلَدٌ و بِِنْتٌ

I'm married and have a boy and a girl=Ana motazawejon wa endy waladon wa benton.

أنا أُحِبُ الْقِرَاءَةَ و تَعَلُّمَ اللُّغَات

I like reading and learning languages=Ana ohebo alkeraata wa ta'aloma alloghaat.

أنا أحب أسْرَتِى و عَمَلِى جِدًّا

I love my family and work very much=Ana ohebo osraty wa amaly jeddan.

Note: If you're a male you'll say متزوج, but it's متزوجة for a female.

Also, you say مهندس مدنى if you're a male, but you say

مهندسة مدنى if you're a female.

So for the feminine words, we add taa marbotah(ة) in the end of the word.
