Cutting to the chase (concrete stuff about Portuguese)

1-When am I actually going to use Portuguese in my practical life?

Never  

2-When am I actually taking a flight to Brazil?

Most of us always want to but probably will never do it, last time I checked the flight was 6 grand for 2 adults and 1 child, and it’s a long trip (from Canada anyways).

3-Gee, am I going to survive the violence and crime?

I guess you live in heaven eh? (please, “not necessarily” sounds so lame)

4-Even if I speak Portuguese so what?

It might sound a little abstract but think about synchronicity experiences.

5-Why so few Portuguese teachers available at edufire?

I have no clue.

6-How long does it take to become fluent?

Boy, that’s a really tuff one. How long does it take you to accomplish anything? How long does it take you to overcome obstacles? Are you a compulsive quitter?  Or do you stick around and get things done no matter what?

7- Whatever! How am I going to make a living in Brazil?

How do you make a living now? As far as I know Brazil welcomes creative, intelligent, innovative individuals.

8- I want to join just Portuguese free classes.

Sure, why not eh? But for you $5.00 motivates your tutor and makes her/him believe that you are actually a little bit more serious about taking Portuguese lessons. Please keep in mind that $5.00 is a deposit not “all inclusive” Portuguese language package. It’s fair and square, don’t you agree?
