Our First Trip

Reader: our 1st trip…what you talkin about, Jamila?
Jamila: many of us want to go to Japan, right? right! and My desire is to do what i can to help us all get there. Group trip, anyone???  I'm serious...very serious.

Here are a couple of the secrets i used to get to Japan the 1st time…

1. I believed i was actually going…despite anything that happened.
2. I acted like i was going. Even though I didn’t know how or when I was going to go, I signed up for Japanese classes…and confidently told everyone that I was going.
3. I actually visualized myself there…walking along a street in Tokyo with tall buildings towering overhead.

And people, I got there! There were bumps in the road but that all just makes the story better.  So be ready to hold on to the dream despite anything that happens!

Now here’s the deal.  I’m proposing what we’ll call…

ProjectJapan: Our Trip In Pictures!

Reader: What is it? 
Jamila: It’s our dream trip in pictures. “ABC. Easy as 123!” ~the Jackson 5. It’s similar to shiira’s post, just geared toward ALL of US…and with pictures!

Step 1: Find a place we REALLY! want to go in Japan.
Step 2: Find a picture of that place.
Step 3: Post a link to a picture of that place. (or if/when it becomes possible, post the actual picture.)
