This is a one time course designed to give you an introduction to the Japanese language. We will start by learning the first thing every student in Japan has to learn in English:
“This is a pen.”
But why would this boring sentence be so important? We’ll spend the rest of the hour learning about what makes this simple sentence work:
- Japanese sounds
- Simple grammar
- Understanding “This is a pen”
- “Hacking” the language to make it do what you want!
It sounds very simple, but this tiny sentence contains a lot of information that will help to build your Japanese learning foundation and get you well on your way to speaking Japanese!
This was a very fun class, and I learned quite a bit! If I can learn a few more nouns... I'd have a lot of sentences I'd be able to say right now! I'm glad I attended. It was very, very fun.
