A self-explanatory thread really :) I am looking forward to read where everybody wants to live! Maybe you don’t want to move at all. By moving, it may just mean living in a different region of your own country. If that is the case.. What makes you love where you live? The choice is yours! :) |

Good topic, Debbie! I would move to Hawaii, because |

Thanks Christina! Wow! You were born in Hawaii? Now I am jealous!! :) |
I would like to leave in Japan |

Nice answer Betzabeth! Have you visited before? |
Debbie: I moved from Hawaii when I was a baby. I was born on Oahu in a pink military hospital overlooking Pearl Harbor. |
That is very interesting Christina! Have you been back since? |
Debbie! I was born Cuba, and I’ve lived in Nueva York, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Mexico again and in Miami since ’91. I’ve always lived in a big city……..frankly, I’m tired of the traffic, noise, rush rush. I’d like a smaller place, but would I get used to it?? |
Debbie: Yes, I have been back 4 times |
@Christina! Excellent :) I am still jealous lol |
@Enrique! You have moved around :) I think you would get used to something smaller. You could live in a smaller town but near to a city too maybe. But where!? |

Since I am the product of two Caribbean parents, I find myself dreaming about moving to the French Antilles someday….maybe Martinque or Guadeloupe. Why? I am not a fan of cold weather, and I love the laid back life in the Caribbean. Yah mon!! |

Thanks for the responses Betzabeth and Alicia! So far, we have all wanted to live somewhere else! |

I love to stay in my country which is Philippines;). Because the climate is super natural not to cold and not to hot. Home sweet home:) |
Ahhh!! Very nice Maria! It must be wonderful to love where you live! What is the weather like there today? |
I’d like to live in Italy:) |
@ Valerie, a sister at heart when it comes to warm weather. : ) |

Wow, that’s a hard one. I really love where I live now, in a rural area in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains, but I’ve visited so many beautiful places, too. I’ve lived in big cities (Chicago, Duluth, Boston) but they are not my choice for good living. As I said, though, I love being here. But the most important thing about being here is being close to my daughters and my two granddaughters, as well as my aging parents. |

@ Tony – they say home is where the heart is and yours is in the right place. : ) |

I grew up in a small town surrounded by corn fields. I’m not sure if that is why I moved to be next to my ocean, but I have to be next to water. I would love to go to Italy one day to live. I can’t really explain why. It just seems more simple. Today we are in such a hurry and we don’t care about each other. I want to just go some place where one can stop and take it all in and really appreciate it. |
