Yes Zeinab! But you know what, I think all of the world are praying for Ghaza and sympathize with the children who are being killed every day. I really dont like politics but sometimes there are things that cant help me saying them.

May Allah save those innocents in Ghaza from the crimes that are done against them!

Hamdy, It’s not political to want peace there, and the suffering of little children to stop. God bless them, and may He give ALL those involved the wisdom and the will to make the choices necessary to stop this carnage.

My thoughts and my prayers go out to the people of Gaza, the innocent lives that have been lost, and the families that are suffering. I pray there will be peace, and for those that are gone, I pray that they rest in peace in heaven’s paradise. I feel so helpless, and my heart cries each time I see footage on the news. I just hope my prayers reach those innocent souls that have suffered so much.

I won’t pray for Ghaza but for the whole Mankind. Praying for Ghaza means that in Ghaza everybody is innocent and in Israel everybody is guilty.
I know that the reality is not that simple. There are guilty bastards and innocent angels everywhere. Why should I choose one camp ??? Tell me !

Patrick, being fractious doesn’t help anything. “Praying for Ghaza” means, in a broader sense, pray for an end to that stupidity that is going on there. And I call it stupidity because that’s just what it is, on both sides of the conflict.

thanks for you all,Mr Patrick what you are saying is totally unfair,I know this is not the place for that but what you said is very surprising.who is guilty ?the civilian who were killed with no reason?and who is innocent thw civilian who has water, food and electrisity that warm them in this cold weather, please think!no innocence in a place killing kids and taking others land.what is the problem of ghaza?that they choose their leader…hello democracy!!!!or that they are saving their land!!!hello innocence.i will tell you a simple thing:from the bigining of this war,670 killed =7 from israel who were killed by a friend fire if you call it that and the big surprise half of them are children….think well and dont let your media play with your mind and i am still saying pray for ghaza and only ghaza.

I taught an Israeli who was a retired Mosad agent. A bomb in Syria went off in his face leaving him partially blind. He had the perfect definition of terrorist/freedom fighter that I agree with.

The definition depends on which side of the fence you are sitting on. If you are an Israeli – Israelis are freedom fighters and Palestinians are terrorists. If you are a Palestinian – Palestinians are the freedom fighters and the Israelis are the terrorists.

Anyone caught in the middle, Israeli, Palestinian,Jew,Muslim, Christian – are innocent.

Zeinab !

Unfair is the one who asks me to pray for Musa and not for Moshe.
Unfair is the one who asks me to pray for Al Quds and not for Jerusalem.
Unfair is the one who asks me to pray Allah and not Elohim.

Both Israel and Palestine have a right to a homeland. Compromises will need to be made since neither are leaving.

Mr.Alan, yes i agree that israel has the right to a homeland and i suggest that U.S.A and as a friend of israel and as a big country with maybe 52 states to give israel only one state;why only palastine must give israel its homeland?
Everyone has the right to have homeland but not stealing others’ homeland ,if you dont agree with me please inform me, that i have to change my ideas about dimocracy and human rights…thank you
Mr.Patric, the fair is to live in peace if you pray for Musa or Moshe, the fair is to have your land_your only land- ifyou pray Allah or pray for Alohim ,it is not a matter of religon;it is a matter of land.i wish -for the second time -that you get my point.and please read the history ;only the fair history.thank you all

I need someone to answer me ;you are saying we will pray for who were killed in both sides, who were killd in Israel ?maybe i know nothing …how many people were killed in Israel from the begining of the war.give me numbers .
Kricket,U.S.A wasnt attacked by Iraq that what your media said and if U.S.A was attacked by some arabs, the bombers were from iran, pakistan, saudi arabia _as they said in media and this is untrue-why U.S.A attack iraq only;you know why ?because it is a weak country.please tell me why u.s.a didint attak korya until now or iran because they are strong countries.
When i said pray for ghaza i mean only ghaza; if anyone is sad for israel he can write a topic(pray for israel)but it will be funny;because what is hapening to israel to pray for?!!!!!!!

Hey all. I just want to pop in here to state the fairly obvious that this is a very touchy topic right now. We want to leave this thread open for the time being because we believe in trying to keep a spirit of open communication on this site to the extent that we can. However, I will say that if it heads down a non-constructive path then we will likely lock the thread. Just keep that in mind as you post. Thx!

I remember in the 80’s in the news it was the “poor israeli jews” now it’s the “poor palestinians”!Frankly there are no innocents, the innocent of the 80’s are the adults fighting now.Does history teach us anything?

Yes , Zeinab , everyone on our planet should blame the powerful ,who seem to be negative, But, alas , our eyes are bleeding for those who don’t know why they lost their lives . The young . no innocence any more .

Hey guys. I’m leaving this thread open momentarily because I think this is an important issue and I don’t want to lock threads unless it’s absolutely necessary. Having said that, please adhere to the following:

1 – Don’t post links of pictures to people who have been killed. That just isn’t acceptable here. It’s not about turning a blind eye to what’s going on but rather that images of dead bodies don’t have a place on a site that’s about education and learning.

2 – Please remember that this is a complex issue with a myriad of viewpoints. I’m completely OK with general posts about praying for the people involved in what’s going on over there and for peace in the region. I’m not OK about flame wars over who’s right and who’s wrong. If we go down the latter path here this thread will be locked.

@Fikry,

Like all your other posts I’ve seen (that were not plagiarized from some other source), this one doesn’t make much sense either. I don’t believe any of us here are concerned about honoring you or not honoring you—it’s not foremost in our thoughts.

Jon, if you want or need to delete this post, I understand. No worries. I just get sick of some people’s drivel.

Tony

i dont know why you change the topic from praying to ghaza to fighting against each other,i understand that my topic is like my own place, and please i want a peacefull topic i know it is a sestive issue about israel and palastine and this is not my problem here_until now_my problem is all these kids who were killed with no reason and the way israel is killing, is a shame for all the world again and again pray for ghaza.

@Zeinab, I understand, and I agree that there needs to be peace in Gaza. The killing of innocents by anyone is tragic and criminal. Both sides need to stop what they are doing and take a look at the unwanted consequences of their violence.
