Thanks Michelle. I have to think there are some good places to market this outside of the US. Maybe posting to craiglist in other cities? Facebook? There are so many people looking to learn English that I think classes like this will be extremely popular in the future!

Jon, I think this is kind of an essential problem for EduFire to crack as the English language market is literally HUGE and frankly— speaking as a veteran of the industry— there are many schools literally ripping their students off. The costs/quality of EduFire just blows them away.

I had some interesting results running Facebook ads targeted towards specific countries outside the US, but I think rather than using Facebook or craigslist EduFire should research what websites are popular in other countries. For example, say you put up Google ads for EduFire …. that’s fine for Americans, but people in the Czech Republic (for example) don’t really use Google they use Seznam.cz instead. Each country has it’s own collection of (generally country specific if not language specific) sites that everyone uses.

This might be worth its own specific thread because we have teachers for every conceivable language it seems, many of them looking to provide English lessons too, so everyone stands to benefit from marketing beyond US borders. It would not be hard to put together a list of popular international sites and have ads written out about learning English on EduFire in the local lingo where they will get the most attention.
