I passed the highest level of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test – level 1!

I just wanted to share that :). It’s not so often I have great news to share, but this one is pretty important to me, as it’s a highly valued certificate for finding proper work in Japan.

I wrote all about it on my blog, should anyone care to browse:

Still got a way to go before fluency, but it’s a step in the right direction at least!

Awww! This really is a great achievment. My institute also has 85 percent of students who passed JLPT 1. I have just started learning and planning to directly take JLPT 3 by Dec this year.

Well, congratulations!

I passed JPLT1 too. 317/400. I got 90 points from the listening section, but reading & grammar went pretty poorly. I might take it again when they raise the difficulty level in 2010(if my memory serves me correctly).

So, what are you planning to do next? 漢検?

Thanks everyone! Congratulations to you too Sampo! ^^

I think the main revision to the JLPT tests is the introduction of an extra level between 2 kyuu and 3 kyuu. 1 kyuu will be marginally more difficult apparently.
