Hi:

Can you list 3 things you’re thankful for today?
1-) I just simply feel happy with NO reason at all. I want negative vibes out of my life today…..
2-) I had a great session 2 hours ago. And I have a class in about 2 hours. Thanks to my students.
3-) I’ve received messages from wonderful people I deeply care for.

OK, only 3 for now. The list is endless.

1) The weather here was WONDERFUL today.
2) I have just had a DELICIOUS piece of dark chocolate.
3) I have invited some friends to dinner.

1) In a week I’m leaving to Sardinia with my boyfriend to visit my mom !!!
2) I have a fantastic boyfriend
3) It was a sunny spring day here in Marseille too !

1) I’m finally getting back to the groove of things in terms of work
2) I have some tasty cheese in the fridge, waiting to get eaten.
3) I couldn’t help but notice that Enrique’s numbers look like smiley faces! :)

1) Just had a nice cup of soup at work
2) Tulips are starting to pop out of the freezing ground
3) My daughter and I made music shaking sesame containers last night

Hmm
1) Sat through 2 classes and got through alot of practise today
2) Feel fit and healthy today
3) It was very warm which is a first in London :)

Great thread Enrique. Life has a way of just passing by, and sometimes we forget to take a step back and say thank you to all of the positive things we have going on. It’s very easy to dwell on the negatives, but when we do so, we are just attracting more negativity into our lives……like “THE SECRET” says, “like attracts like”. I read somewhere (maybe it was in the book “The Secret”) about a man that kept a gratitude rock in his pocket. Every time he put his hands in his pocket and felt the rock, it reminded him to say “Thank you” to the universe. How often do we take 5 minutes out of our day to say, Thank You? I know I rarely do! Some people believe that if you acknowledge to the universe that you have gratitude for everything that you have received thus far, there will be more positive things that will come your way!

What am I thankful for?
1. My awesome daughter
2. My internship and work experience
3. My friends

3 things i am thankful:
1- just ad an op on my knee and it is getting better very fast
2-it is finally spring time in Italy
3- last day of school holiday then the kids are back at school!!! monica

2) The sun is finally out! :D There’s hope for Spring….
3) I got two new clients!

Today is a new day.
1) Happy because I set up a Spanish Teachers Twitter Account.
2) I have a spanish lesson with a wonderful student soon. And a class tonight with great students.
3) I just had a mexican breakfast…..hehe

1) finally managed to start revising for exams

1- finally finished my first powerpoint presentation for my italian class
2- just managed to post my first italian class
3-i finally managed to drive my car again after my knee op hurray!!!

Today?

1. One of my trainees took her government oral test this morning and she obtained a higher level than the one required for her job position! Woo hoo!
2. Another one took her government reading and writing tests yesterday and she got her results today: she’s exempted from ever taking those tests again! Re-woo hoo!
3. Today is sunny wall-to-wall and it’s 15 degrees celsisus! Re-re-woo hoo!

1,- My little princess of a cousin. Today I spent two hours playing outside in the sand box with her. She turned 4 years old last Thursday and we (my mum and I) gave her a Princess Cinderella dress. (Her current obsession is Cinderella and she refuses to be called any other name. If we say her real name she “corrects” us and kindly asks us to “please call me by my real name: Cinderella.”) When it was time to get ready for bed, we played with her plastic toys in the bath (we had a tea party…. the tea smelled suspiciously like soapy water….) and then I read her a story. When it was time for me to leave she started crying and holding on to my shirt. It was heartbreaking, but in a strangely good way. I love her so much and every time I look at her and see her smile it’s like I forget everything and all I can think is how pure and good she is. She makes me want to be a better, more responsible person.

2,- My friend, Lena. She was the one who introduced me to eduFire, by the way. I can talk to her about everything. When I was younger I didn’t think much about how you made friends or how good my friends were, but now I am starting to see how easy you can loose a friendship, or how a friendship can turn bad. Thanks to Lena I am also seeing how great a friendship can become if you nurture it and don’t take it for granted. It’s wonderful to have a person outside of your immediate family who knows you exactly as you are, and love you because (or despite) it. ;) With Lena, no topic is off limit and there are no secrets. Wow… the stories she could tell you about me if she wasn’t such a great friend to me…. ;D

3,- I suppose this place should really be for my mother (actually, the number one place should have been for my mother), but seeing as I have already told her how much I love her for everything she does for me to her face today, I will give credit to something else here. :) This is gonna sound a little silly after pouring my heart out over my little baby girl and my best friend, but today I am grateful for this website. This website gives you the choice of choosing your own teacher among so many qualified and passionate people and the choice at studying at your own speed. Because so many classes are free it is open to anyone, including me (a student without a credit card). Even if you have to use a public library to get the internet-and-computer part that is required. I know I am so new to this community, but finding this has been such a relief, it is like it is what I have been searching for and asking for all through my school-life. Who ever made eduFire in the first place, thank you so much. And thanks to you guys, the teachers and the students who are keeping it going and keeping it great! ;)

1- I have 2 kids who are driving me crazy!!
2-I bought a new compact lenses as my eyesight is decreasing!!
3-My dog went to his bride and he is not at home these days!!!!

I’m thankful for gift of living I receive everyday.

today is a good day (even though is raining)

i finally did my video for youtube (ridicoulous i know, but ehi, i am not MERYL STREEP)

1) Rained all night, but now its beautiful.
2) Continue with great English and Spanish Classes
3) No reason. I just feel greattttttttttttttt

hmm, i like this thread….

1 – happy that the cold i’ve had for the last few days is almost gone and that i’ll be back to my 110% self in no time
2 – really excited to start a new type of training this afternoon and especially since i know it wasn’t long ago where i would have cringed at the thought of what i can do now
3 – and finally, the weather is rather nice here even though we’re heading towards winter

1) I am not so nervous anymore teaching my classes! Even though I have a lot to work on….I need all the help I can get!

2) I have had great students

3) The weather here feels more like summer and not spring!

4) To Valerie….“The Secret” is a sweet book….(I prefer the DVD though!) :)
