Hey edubody! I’m so, so sorry that I have been pretty inactive this past month or so. Life here has been hectic in the grown-up world, bills to be paid, issues to deal with, college semester coming up. You know, the usual hectic adult schedule. x_x No time for play! I’ve been too busy to chat, attend classes, or teach any. I hate it but it might be like this for a while. But I promise I haven’t forgotten about you guys! So, without further ado, here’s a picture of my eduFire shirt I won from a contest a while back. I wasn’t able to take it at a cool place… but I’ve brought the coolness to the shirt. ;) (Koichi and folk, please don’t be mad at what appears to be me disfiguring the lovely, soft shirt, but the shirt was too big normally so I sliced and styled it to fit my womanly curves!)
I LOVE IT!! It suits an artsy person like me, and my fellow classmates will definitely get interested. Wink wink! <3 Laura |

Good on you!! Absolutely! Love it! Once you have curves you really don’t want to hide them. : ) How long did it take you? |

I’m not really good at sewing, so I’m always on the lookout for stylish shirt cutting that doesn’t require needle and thread. This took me about 10-15 minutes max to do. Here’s where I got this awesome style: http://www.instructables.com/id/The_T_Shirt_Hack_Or_How_to_revamp_an_old_t_shirt/ |

wow! I didn’t know you could do something like that to a shirt. That’s awesome! Now I gotta look into doing that to my t-shirt…. :P |
I love sewing, but this website sounds great!! I will take a look at it. Thanks : ) |
@K, have you got curves? ;P |
Well Angela, since you like sewing, you have MANY shirt-altering styles open to you. Especially tank tops and “dresses.” Koichi, go crazy! The different things you can do to guy or girl shirts are amazing. I just didn’t want to lose the logo. ;) |
Awesome!!! |
I would try to do that with my eduFire t-shirt. However, even if I could ever learn to do something like that, I don’t believe anyone here would really like to see me model it from either the front or the back! |
Woah that is awesome!! You may have to be the eduFire clothes designer! |
You look beautiful!!!! I too, have many curves. My friends call it a fat stomach and behind, but I like word curves. |
@Ron…..LOL Wow! Love it! I’m super impressed! I wish I was creative like that. If I attempted to do that, I think I’d have holes in all the wrong places! I’m thinking that maybe you should create a class on how to jazzy up regular old t-shirts! Wink wink! Nudge Nudge! |
By the way, I got my shirt, too….thanks, @K! I showed it off to Charisma, my Swahili student, and she loved it. Great logo and great feel to it all! |

Ron, you know we’d LOVE to see you model your shirt!! Your default picture is wicked cool and representin’. Thanks to everyone else for their lovely comments! Valerie, that isn’t a bad idea. Although the styles I’d be teaching are borrowed from tip sites, some don’t have videos so video instruction might help. I could visually demonstrate how to do this and other techniques. I’ll think about it. ;) |

Wicked awesome Laura! |
That is a great look! I have been thinking of altering my eduFire T-shirt once I got it. I assumed it is straight cut. Hahaha, but I will send mine to the tailor. :P |
Laura!! That is amazing!! |
Wow, that’s pretty sick. Well done! |
Thanks guys! I didn’t want to throw away the collar, so I made it into a (semi-)matching headband. :D
That’s hot! |
eduFire admins….I think you have an excellent schwag-maker talent in Laura. HIRE HER IMMEDIATELY! |
Ahh, I’m blushing. :3 |
Maybe Laura can have a clothing design class on eduFire. |
Well, I can’t sew well or anything, so there’s only so much I could teach. :x |
