Hello Edubody:

I know its still too soon for this. But, last night I was thinking on having another Halloween Party on edufire.
This “Party” will not be a class. Instead, it will be held as an edufire event. Eduguys, correct me if I’m wrong, please.
The main idea is for teachers and students to get together, and mingle. We can share PPTs, pics, music, and so on.
Everybody will have an opportunity to speak and come on cam if you please to do so.
It will not be a class, but a meeting, with the pretext of Halloween.
Of course, we will also talk about Halloween. Its origin, and how its celebetrated in different countries.
Ok, what do you guys say? Let’s Party!!!!
We need to establish a day and time . As a guideline, Halloween is October 31st in USA.

Sounds like an awesome idea, Enrique! I would be happy to put in my input on that origins of Halloween. But, see I don’t quite know if I can make it because Halloween Day is on a Saturday and I only take classes on the weekdays. But, we’ll see… :)

Thanks Austin! I knew you’d be there. As to the day and time. Let’s wait for suggestions to start coming in.

It does sound great!

Since we are international, not everyone will be available. For example if we went with noon (12:00) at the Edufire HQ’s it would be 8pm (20:00) in London and 1am (01:00) in Tokyo. How about if we do a count of informal RSVP’s and their time zones first?

Put me down for Pacific Time (PDT)

What makes you think we even wear anything from the chest down?

To get the ball rolling, would anybody object to 12noon Pacific on the 31st (Sat here)?

Nobody has objected as of yet. If this is true is a couple of days we might be able to consider that a unanomous “yeah”.

I have a class going on at that time that is part of an 8 session series. I would appreciate it if an alternative time could be decided on.

Thanks!
