By the way, Manila is originally an Arabic name means “fi amaani Ellah” which means in English “in Allah’s safety”, but it was slanted afterwards to be Manila.

I hope everyone’s okay! I’m happy to hear that one of our fellow eduFire tutors, Aubrey, is also doing well. She lives in one of the areas that were affected by Tropical Storm Ketsana.

My family is very well. Though my internet connection is not yet stable till now to give some classes. BUt I am so grateful my famili is very safe. Thanks all for your concern. Yes, indeed , there are many people died and many are still missing. Some of the Filipino celebrities were just fetched on thir rooftop last Thursday. One of the male TV host is still missing.
Today Monday, according to the news, Philippines especially Manila should expect heavy rains . The flood in the Manila area doesn’ subsided yet and there are some still on their houses unrescued till now.
Pls help us pray for them.

Hi there! I’m from Manila (Las Pinas) and I’m one of those very fortunate ones who were not affected by the flood. Though the street was flooded we are very thankful that our house is elevated. My parents house as well as my brothers’ were flooded, we were very busy helping them clean their respective houses. My internet connection is back to normal, so I’ll be present for my next class with you Enrique. Thank you guys for checking on us.

God will make a way, Dr. Aldrin, Audrey and Lani I am very much thankful that you are safe,,,, (ingat kayo lahat) God is good all the time. hi Gihan I missed you my sister……

My prayers and thoughts go out to everyone who has been affected by the floods. I had no idea about what happened.Thanks for keeping us posted everyone. @Adrian: I totally agree with you. This post is very touching.
