One of the benefits that eduFire provides students is the opportunity to have customized, private lessons. Customized, one-on-one lessons are the best way to learn. I’ve always believed that the best way to teach is to find out what interests your student, engage and challenge the student, and help that student achieve his or her goal.

I am experiencing this joyful way to teach at the Oxford Intensive School of English in Boston. I have one student who wants to be a minister. His goal is to improve his speaking ability. Since leadership topics interest him, we decided that we would spend a week where he reads and discusses selections from the books “How to Win Friends and Influence People” by Dale Carnegie and “The 21 Most Powerful Minutes in a Leader’s Day” by John C. Maxwell.

My afternoon student’s goal is to improve his listening skills. He told me he likes fast food so we listened to and discussed a college economics lecture title “McDonalds, The Industralization of Eating.” It was challenging; we dissected the lecture into sections and it proved to be a very successful approach.

eduFire provides students this flexible, customized way to learn. Whether you want to learn another language, business, computer-related classes, whatever – eduFire has teachers that can provide you personalized instruction. Please take advantage of this opportunity and consider scheduling sessions with the teachers of your choice.
