Do you have a special talent that you can do better then anyone? Mom always said I had a talent of singing. She often called me her little song bird. I did once for her friends and they told her she should try to see if i wanted to do it for a profession. I didn’t i was too embarresed, and I knew abi(dad) was going to say noooooo. Though i did sing for my class one day. I was in chorus. Then one day my teacher asked me to sing a duet with a guy. Just for practice, we were kind of alone. So i was not so scared, she was amazed to hear me and so was the guy. I told mom and she smiled. But, this is my piont of view. I would love to show you! Let me know if you have Talents. |

Hey, Vicky! I feel as if I know you better each time I read about you and chat. I have a talent for teaching. I also have passion for teaching. I can paint, too. |

Hi there Vicky, thanks for starting this topic and sharing your story! It’s great that you can sing beautifully! :) I don’t think I have any special talents… Well, I can draw decently if it’s something simple like flowers, and I love editing music videos, but trust me, you don’t want to do a duet with me… (I’m awful at singing…) My former Latin teacher used to say I have the sense of language and I do want to explore my passion for languages… I’ve also been told I’m a good listener, so I guess I have some empathy too… But all these are pretty common, I can’t say I have any special talent… :) |
Sandra, that is not true! You have a talent for words and a love of language! |
I’d like to say that I have talent at computers and coding, but I know that there’s thousands of other people who know the stuff waaaay better than I do. I can play the piano well, but I’m not amazing at it. :| |

Hmmm, I am good at knitting and handcrafts and also cooking :)) |

My main talent is to teach people to speak english and/or spanish. I was born with part of that talent, The other was acquired through the years! |

Wow Candy… thanks! :) Enrique, you’re right about the born/aquired part… You know what they say, 10% talent and 90% hard work… in any field! |

I have learned that we all have special talents – but sometimes it takes awhile for us to discover them and often others see them before we do! As for me? I love to write and explore new ways of looking at old ideas! |

I was telling in the Spanish forum about typical Spanish breakfast. Lots of people have it a at bar (we love meeting in bars and cafeterias. Spanish people always meet around a table, as eating it is not only feeding ourselves but part of our culture, it is the time of chatting with friends and family, tell about our lifes, we can spend hours!). |
