Hi, we’re trying to set up a spanish conversation group. We could meet on Skype once or twice a week, or maybe on the weekends.

Just a friendly chat among us. Our Español thread is picking up. And adding conversation, will be helpful!

Suggestions please. Need to set dates and time. Please remember time differences.

I would like to join in. I’m not able to commit fully right now because I’m still setting up a tutoring schedule with my Hindi tutor. If you set up a time I will try to join. Hope it’s okay that I’m being half-committed like that.

Just remember I am in Pacific Time so 6pm is 3pm my time which isn’t as easy for me because of work. Later is better!

I propose meeting tuesdays and thursdays. But at 2 different times. In other words “2 groups”

- One group can be at 3pm my time EST. I believe its 9pm europe. Good for Abdul. Concha, Debbie, and others.

- Another at 9 or 10pm my time 6 or 7 PST. Good for Wendy, Tina, Liz, and others

Pleae let me know. We can move around these times.

I am from the north of Spain, but I’ve visited Andalucia several times.
The accent in the South of Spain is quite hard, but I am very good with accents, so I can show you what you will find, if you are not used to it :)
For me Tuesday and Thursday is ok, and I don’t mind joining later, so Wendy can also join.

right now i am taking some courses in the Cervantes instituto de espana (the Spanish embassy in Cairo), i have 3 more levels to study to graduate and i can continue my language studies in Spain. it was my dream ,and still is, to study in Spain. i also i have many friends in Spain and i would like to see. of course, i would love to see Alhambra too. i am thinking to study Spanish history too if it is possible since i am so attracted to the history of Spain and i do not know why, i just love it. i have been to Madrid before few times. happy Day of Spain (Día de la Hispanidad ó Día Nacional de Españal), and happy FIESTAS DEL PILAR in zaragosa. on behalf of the egyptians and all arabs, we send our greetings to Spain for dia nacional de espania. i am available to be with any time, just let me know and i will be there for you. last time i had good conversation with Enrique on Tuesday at 6 pm Miami time. that was good for me, but i am available anytime. concha, thank you very much for your offer to help me, i will need your help. once more thank you all.

Abdul, I worked for 2 years at an Instituto Cervantes accredited centre in Spain, so I’m quite well used to their standards and levels.
About timetables, I think Enrique’s proposal is very good ( again ), although I would prefer a little bit earlier or later, I mean I usually have dinner at 9pm (Spanish time) with my family, so … any suggestions?
