Hi, |
|
|
Melissa ! Honey Bee ! The time will come when the “I-do-not-show-people” will disappear. The site is a new-born baby and people are massively interested, but among the huge number there are of course some unserious students. Be patient. What more, summer time is really a special time, in September you will get the serious students for sure. |

Hi Patrick and Fansisqo, |
|
|
I just for the first in 14 sessions had someone not show up. I sent them an e-mail after 15 minutes and they still did not respond. It was said that some of these who have no profiles are people who are not serious about this. |

Patrick is right we are going to get busier when the school year starts :) |

I have to say…I was very annoyed at a no-show at 11PM at night! I even emailed them several times in their own language ( love those online translators) with no response. Oh well, it happens, no one is perfect. Like you said those people are not serious & will disappear rapidly. |

Yeah, it’s unfortunate. Right now it’s about 60/40 for me, where I am finally getting more showing up than not (big comeback from 4 no-shows in a row). I think it’s just a process of eliminating those that don’t show up, and finding those that will be repeat customers. I know eduFire is working on fixing this problem too, so hopefully we’ll have more luck! :) @John Williams |

it is a very good idea Koichi! I also agree with the idea of reporting the “no- shows”!;) |

This has been discussed before and people gave some great ideas such as being able to post something on a profile saying hey this person stood me up, but then that person being able to explain WHY they weren’t there just so if it’s something like for instance 2 weeks ago my husband changed the alarm because he didn’t know I needed to be up at 5:15AM and I slept through my session. Then we’d be able to identify repeat offenders. |

It’s a great idea. I think eventually we’ll start listing no-shows on the student’s profile page. That way when you’re considering whether to accept a new student you can base that decision in part off of whether they are likely to show up. I’m sorry we don’t have that in place yet. It’s coming! :) |
