Hey Dr. Vinod – did you make any changes to your time zone in your profile? |
NO my time zone was same as before….just now i have rechecked…its NEWDELHI of India time zone |
Hi :) So the time is still not showing correctly? |
ya still same thing…….when i schedule for 1AM it is showing 6:30AM after confirming…….whats happening ….:-) |
Hey Vinod, Looking into this right now. Thanks! |
Hi Everyone, I’m Scott, one of the engineers here at eduFire. Due to a glitch in the eduFire software, for any classes that show this problem, the teacher for the class needs to edit the class and reselect the date and time for any classes created today from roughly 10:00 am eastern to 6 pm eastern. Anything created outside of that window will be fine. Our apologies for this issue. |
ya iam editing and reselecting my classes…even then it shows same thing…..its ok i can manage…bye |
Maybe try recreating the class entirely? Just a guess, but let us know if that works! |
I am having to do that, but not to fix time-zone errors but to fix HTML code that was working yesterday but does not work today. I posted more information here. |
Also interesting…. the text box to add comments seems to be adding ‘smart quotes’ rather than simple quotation marks required to add a link. Please see the post above. I am wondering if this is the part of the reason the HTML code on my class page is failing to work properly. |

Good catch! Engineers are on the job ! Thanks Ron! |
Thanks Koichi! Can I have a ‘Bug Catcher’ badge now? LOL |
@KOICHI I have tried all the things….Editing classes…..Cloning classess….recreating classess….NO USE….may be its technical and it may get solved by itself …..thnak u all EDUFIRE staff for answering my questions…. |
@Ron There’s a decent possibility of that :) |
@Dr. Vinod – I’ll pass this along to the engineers and see if something is still going on or if they have any ideas on it. Thanks much and sorry for the inconvenience! |
EDUFIRE is doing g8 g8 job….ya sometimes minoe errors will occur….its natural and we are the one family of EDUFIRE….we too have some Responsibilities….I will co-operate with EDUFIRE all the way….NO more sorrys and you are trying ur best….i can understand…. I HAVE ONE DOUBT…..How can we know that student have SUPERPASS or NOT….its only just by looking at our uperpass payment section…..I request you to modify payment details design….put separately for superpass and normal payments….so that we can easily makeout student category…..ok thnk u bye |
Thanks for the suggestions Dr. Vinod. Be sure to add it to the idea board as well so we can keep good track of it and the other ideas! |
Hey Dr. Vinod, We just tried testing it and it all worked on our end. Could you create a class and post a link to the class (and tell me what time it should be in your time zone)? That will help us troubleshoot. Thank you! |
@ KOICHI Good News !!!! Its working at my end now….Now I can modify my time….I have tested and its kool and working……EDUFIRE is doing things so quick and we are very Happy with you….Thanks to all engineers and Edufire staff and my friends here….Thnk u |

Unfortunately I am still having problems with the formatting of HTML on the class pages. I have narrowed it down to the following types of HTML tags that are giving the problems:
Now the interesting aspect of the problems are that the tags which are giving me the trouble are tags that require quotation marks be used in order to set certain attributes. For example, the < FONT> tag requires the size and color attributes be enclosed in quotation marks and the < A HREF> tags require the link to be enclosed as well. I posted a video to YouTube in order to show you what was happening. You can view it by clicking here. The link to my class page is here. |

@Dr. Vinod – That’s great to hear! @Ron – Just messaged the smart folks. Probably something to do with the big changes we made on the backend |
welcome:-) |

Thanks Koichi! I just rechecked the class page and it still appears to be happening there at the present time. It sounds as if the big changes is probably at the root of this and some of the other things the computer gremlins are messing with today. But I know the eduSmart tech team led by Jared and Scott will have it up and working properly in no time at all! So maybe I will take a break for awhile and read a book while they get it all figured out. BTW – just want to let you guys know how much we all appreciate the work you all do! |

Thanks Koichi!!!I’m a Bug Catcher Now!
