Hi all,

I teach French and I have high hopes for this service.

But I am wondering, as tutor, have you managed to make money with Edufire?

How long have you been using Edufire?

Hi. Not to worry eduFire is working on it. The community is great, great students and amazing tutors. It will take some time, but soon it will be your turn to shine. Lots of students wanted to learn French and Japanese. If I have a student who wanted to learn another language like French, I will refer that student to you Pierre.

QES 101, heureux de faire votre connaissance!

Nice to meet you! I am enjoying this new Edufire tremendously. I am discovering that I was born a teacher. I am enjoying a film & television career as well, but moving to Vancouver made me look into tutoring. I found an equal passion!

I looked at how you offer classes, and there is a lot of flexibility in your choices of classes. That is inspiring. Plus, you have great testimonials. I’ll come and attend one of your class soon.

À bientôt!

Some people make money, and some people don’t. I think it all comes down to the amount of work you put into it. Teaching online is a business, and no business succeeds without the proper investment of time, effort, and a high quality product!

I can’t tell you how much people make, but there are definitely people who “make a living” off eduFire, so it’s possible :)

White Prince, you don’t make money but you charge for your classes? Are you being ironic? Not sure I get your post.

Koichi: People making a living on Edufire. Sounds like a lot of fun to me. I’d like to get to know them so that I can learn fast what works best for them.

It’s a BUSINESS… there are very few businesses that don’t have some investment whether it is sweat equity or dollars. It will take time to “make a living” anywhere… The only place that you get a return right away is at a “job” and even then you’re probably looking at having a week in the hole before you’re paid.
So to answer your question… I am new on edufire… I see the potential for making a respectable income here and no I don’t expect it to happen tomorrow.
Having said that I have a friend who signed up on edufire and had a session request the next day. She didn’t even know how to use the software yet. She had to ask the student to please wait until she had at least attended an orientation.
I think your subject matter and your marketing will make all the difference.
I recommend Ron’s marketing series to get your feet wet with the marketing angle… here is the link for his class.

Pierre, your passion will soon pay off. Just like Koichi and Alaia had said, it will take some time, we all been there. With your passion and love of teaching, it is an asset and an investment that someday soon will have a big profit return. Also, check out Ron Smith classes, take advantage of his free classes. It is free and it has a tremendous value to learn from his class. It is a guaranteed winner!!!
