When will teacher payments be sent out today?

I’m learning something here…. I thought payments were made every 2 weeks. Therefore I’ll ask the same question! :)

Hi! Payments are made each Wednesday at some point during the Pacific time zone.

Yes you’re definitely right, payments should be made today (though we are talking US Pacific Time so it does sometimes arrive during the early hours of Thursday morning or European time zones and those further east).

I’ll look into it and see what the news is.

I’m checking guys. No reason why they wouldn’t go out on Wednesday (it’s still Wednesday here in the US) but let me see what might be going on.

I just checked my Paypal. There’s still nothing there. So, I’m still waiting.

Mair! This is a more delicate issue. No shows, pre paid banners, and so on, is one thing……Not paying on time, is a different story.

Oh trust me, I am holding a paid class soon. If I get students and I don’t get paid. You my friend will get an angry looking smiley face….Dang it I still can never be mean when I want to be. Oh well.

As Ryan said, the timeline is going to be Noon PST so that gives us all an indication. Cool. If anybody needs to know about timezones click here

Great thinking Michael. I see you have voted for this idea which might just help with paid class no-shows. Then we might have to give some thought to how we make sure free classes don’t swamp those which will support tutors and eduFire in the long run …..

(I wasn’t not taking the no-payment issue seriously though Enrique – just falling asleep very late)

En effet Michael, I agree with you…. electronic payments aren’t necessarily made at specific times and I wasn’t worried at all: actually I thought we were paid every 2 weeks and wasn’t expecting anything last night! :)

Mair I voted for your idea right after Michael! :D

I’m also afraid that qualified teachers will leave for other platforms eventually because no one is here to work with aggravation such as no-shows and related problems. Personally I want to teach, share my knowledge/expertise with serious students (because there are some and they’re great!) and get results….
