Exactly when does a student prepay for the lesson? An hour beforehand? A minute? I selected prepay only, but I have just had a student stand me up for the SECOND time in three days. This is extremely inconvenient. I rearranged my entire schedule twice for this student, even sent an email explaining that it is important that they cancel the session if they are not going to be there. It seems that prepay still means they can be a no show and not have to pay? I think they should have to either pay say, two or three hours before the session, or the session is automatically canceled. I don’t know of any professionals who will sit around waiting for a client without getting paid and having no idea if they will show up or not. I am not willing to do it either. |

unfortunately Yvonne, that is the way it is. if the student does not attend the class. he does not pay for it. he pays only if he enters the class room. |

We just switched over to pre-pay to alleviate some of the issues around no-shows, no-pays. However, it doesn’t eliminate all of them. We could require people to pay at the time of registration and not have their registration be valid unless they are paid. However, we want to get more feedback before we go this direction. |

If you are looking for feedback Jon, I can say I’d be much happier to pay at time of registraton. Much less hassle than having to do it prior to a lesson. Over and done with in one go and one less process to go through – yes I am lazy. |

I would totally support paying at the time of registration. |
