Hi all. I’m now an Americorps VISTA and am not allowed to work any other job, or I could lose my position. I want to stay on edufire because I love the community and the teachers.

Is there a way to switch to a student account without losing all of your friends and contacts??

Let me confess I have absolutely no answer to your question. :(

However, I just wanted to congratulate you on your position and for choosing such a wonderful and noble calling! I am so honored to know that someone such as yourself is involved with eduFire!

Please go ahead and set up a student profile for yourself and I promise that I will do whatever I can to help all of your friends on eduFire know the situation and direct them to your student profile. Others within the eduFire administration may have a better, more practical solution. I really hope they do! But in the meantime email or message me your student profile address and I will use it as a signiture line in all my forum postings over the next several weeks.

And again, thank you not only for your dedication and service to our country, but to all of humanity as well!

Basically, the only way to do that is to notify all of your friends that you have moved to a student account.

Ron (and Austin) has given you all the information and I’d also like to congratulate you! :)

I thought (for some reason) that I could switch your account to a student but I’ve obviously been eating too many grapes lately (what?).
