eduFire is running slowly again – taking over 50 seconds to load pages with Firefox, over 30 seconds with Google Chrome. Other sites are loading normally in under 5 seconds. I know there was a thread covering this already – sorry I couldn’t find it.

ok eduFire is loading normally again so whatever is making it run slowly was happening about 12 minutes ago …..

back to very slow running now – 08:20 PDT (16:20 UK). will let you know when it improves. This is the same time it was running very slow last Thursday.

Very very slow….. what happened? My students waited for few minutes in front of the door…..

thanks for posting Aubrey – good to know i am not imagining it – it has got so bad now that I am timing out trying to reach eduFire (09:15 PDT – 17:15 UK)

and in the last few seconds it has gone back to normal! (09:15 PDT – 17:15 UK)

yes edufire gave me hard time today, it was very slow, and disconnected many times ????
even some of my students could not get in the class.

It’s been happening for a few days now, actually. Registering to classes takes 3-4 minutes. :o(

FYI, every time I get slowness FireFox seems to display a URL to google-analytics. Good luck Lily.

@Jeremiah – Thanks for that info, that is helpful. I’ll let our engineers know! When you see the google-analytics URL in the status bar, is the page still in the process of rendering?

Still slow. Particularly to load the My Superpass page and Past Payments. These 2 are particularly slow

The slowness I’m seeing is more intermittent now.

Again today I was not able to get on edufire I missed few classes…. just as always….I hope my students can understand….It didn’t move for few hours….

There is a slowdown today…. it would take forever for pages to load…. and when I tried (more than once) to post a comment on a forum, it froze and then the page disappeared…. now it seems to be okay….

Yes, its been very slow.

Yep I saw the slow time too. It seems to flip back to proper performance very quickly so I think it is something that is running and then finishes – maybe a backup? – rather than heavy traffic at particular times. Hope it gets fixed soon….
