urgent help - can't get into classroom

I am supposed to be teaching a class in 8 minutes. When I try to get in I get a message to say I will be allowed in when the host arrives – I am the host and I am logged into my tutor account. I think I got into the class once but came out again quickly – any ideas on how I might enter / re-enter?

Hey Mair, did you try deleting your cookies / deleting your browser cache?

or, if all else fails, trying a new browser?

sadly didn’t think of those under pressure – did class with Skype – will start earlier next time – just drove back from London to be in time to do this session and was a little later than intended – then found laptop disk had stopped working so had to use pc instead which doesn’t have google chrome, just firefox – all got a bit stressful. This is the second week i haven’t been able to use eduFire though so maybe a quick session with Marco would be a good idea once I have my machine sorted out ….. thanks for coming back so quickly :-)

Oh no! Hard disk stoppage definitely is stressful. I know how you feel :( I hope you get that all fixed up and nothing is lost!

Thanks Marco. Laptop should be fixed on Monday and next lesson is probably 4pm Tuesday. Either Monday 3pm onwards or Tuesday morning or early afternoon would be great. Shall I send a message when laptop is fixed?

You seem to have two tutor accounts – one with a picture and one without. It is the one with a picture you need to find your classes ….

When you have two accounts and want to switch between the two:

1. Sign out
2. Close your browser (very important)
3. Re-open your browser
4. Log back in

This will allow you to change email addresses when you enter the teaching platform.

@Laura, if you want one of your accounts deleted just let me know.
