Is there a way to create a tutorial that is maybe a sticky that would show students how to leave feedback? I think they don’t understand how to do it and how it works. For tutors it is key to getting a handle on how well we are doing and for students it is a way to help you decide who to take classes from and who to support. I know that when i first came I could not figure it out and still don’t have a handle completely. I have taken classes where the feedback button comes right up on my page after the class and other where there is no button. Is there something the tutor needs to do to get that button to show up for the students?

Hey! (and a special Hi to Fikry :) )

We actually don’t get many questions about feedback. Here’s the deal:

After each class or session (not always immediately after but certainly after a few hours) the student has a big green button appear on their ‘My eduFire’ page. They click it and there is just one screen consisting of a drop down menu with a 1 to 10 score and a box to leave comments. That’s it.

The only time the button doesn’t appear is after a class that is part of a series of classes, like a course. In which case the feedback button appears after the last class has been run (even if the student attends just one of the classes).

The whole thing is automated and there is nothing for the teacher to do.

Let me know if you need any further help.
