Hi there, I’m currently trying to access my lesson with Na Na, but I’m getting this message when I launch the conference programme: "Your Account Has Expired. You are getting this error message because: * You were trying to log in to your account and it has expired. * You were trying to access a content, course or meeting and your account has expired."Is this happening for everyone? Just me? |

I’ve never seen this before Ailsa. I am sorry you’ve experienced this. I’ll contact the technical guys and they’ll reply here. Could you type on this thread what operating system and browser you use as this information will help find a solution asap. Thanks for your patience. |

Hi Marco, That’s okay, this stuff happens :). It seems as though it wasn’t just myself, as my teacher also couldn’t log in. I’m using Firefox in Windows Vista, but I also tried it in IE and got the same result. I haven’t had any problems before. |

Thanks for the info Ailsa and for your understanding. So Na Na was having the exact same error messages do you know? One of the tech guys will respond here shortly. |

Hi Folks, First of all, you both have my apologies that the session wasn’t able to run in the eduFire classroom as expected. A few weeks ago, we changed from using a trial account on ConnectPro to using one that has been specifically set up for eduFire. During the transition, we identified 46 sessions which had already been scheduled, and needed to be moved to the new ConnectPro account. In looking at the session details for Na and Ailsa, it would appear that we overlooked one session, because theirs still had data for the old, trial account. It does appear that your session was the last one remaining that still had the old account data, so it’s my strong belief that this bug won’t appear again. Regards, |

Thanks Jared! So that is resolved. Na Na, post has been edited. ;-) Also, if you have reason to revert to Skype you can still use the ConnectPro platform to use material such as Powerpoint etc., just ensure that your microphone is set to off. Of course, this is not an ideal situation and if everything is set up properly there is no need to use Skype or any third party software. We’re in the process of creating some video tutorials which will help rectify such issues. In the meantime, thanks to Jared for the quick response and solution. :) |
