Hey guys, I’m sure some of these have been reported to you already, but I just noted a couple things down I thought you’d may want to look at. In no specific order: - when you load the registration screen, you may want to default the cursor the “First Name” text input box Hope this helps. I’ll play around a bit more and let you know if I find something worth your attention. Mike. |

PS. may be a good idea to show “Tutor” or “Student” with user names in the left column of the Forum. Also – i’m responding to my own topic, and when I first posted, I clicked “Follow this topic”. Now i’m responding to the same topic, and next to this response box, the “follow this topic” checkbox is not checked. It would be good to save and show the setting, so if I want to “un-follow” I can do that here, or just be assured that I’m still following the topic, even if I respond now and not check the box again. |

One more :) In the menu header on top of the site, it would be good to show the number of unread messages, behind “Messages”, e.g. “Message 2” |
|

Me again: I’m following my own topic and responded to my own topic. I got an e-mail notifying me of my own reply to my own topic. Perhaps you should set it to only notify if other people respond to a followed topic. |

One more – also the eduFire small logo seems to be cut off a bit, compared to the full logo on the home page. The E, D, U and final E look a bit more rounded at the bottom on the large logo, than they do on the small logo in the header and footer of the forum |

http://edufire.com/testimonial/request_testimonial On the request testimonial page, i think there’s no need to have a line break between “Return to your " and "testimonials”. |

New one. Steps to reproduce:
May not be a huge issue, only from a perspective that users may think they have logged out, leave the public PC they were on, and someone now has access to their account. PS. a “Preview Post” function would be great in the forum ;) |

Fantastic feedback here! A few of the bugs have already been reported but there are definitely a few new ones here. We’ll get right to work fixing these and please let us know if you spot anything else. Thanks! |

Got a new one for you. I clicked on the link in the e-mail notifying me that a response has been posted, and that went right to the correct page. When I now go back to the “Forum” main page, the icon still lights up green indicating a new, unread post, even though I’ve already read it. |
|
|
Similar thing happens after I post a new response myself, and then go to the Forum main page. It indicates new posts, even though the only new post is my own. |

Thanks again for the feedback! I just noticed this recently too as we’ve added that to our bug tracker as well. Keep ’em coming! |

Hey Shane. Thanks for mentioning this. I’ve filed a bug with our developers to check this out. Occasionally we have timezone bugs so we’ll definitely check into it! Jon |

Hey my EduFire Friends, I’ve come across a bug or maybe my own blunder. I put in suggestions for time slots with a student that had requested a session with me and she accepted one of the times, but it wasn’t one that I had suggested. It turned out to be 2am my time – and I would be sleeping through the session if that’s the case! Just wondering if there have been other problems like this… Thanks, |

hey guys, just noticed the resources button on the bottom of the page goes to “http://blog.edufire.com/” and this page does not exist. |
|
|
I keep trying to accept a friend request and I get a “Security Transgression” error screen. |
|
|
This usually means you aren’t logged in or, if you are logged in, maybe you’re logged in with an account that is different from the one that the message was sent to (this happens on occasion when people have both a student and teacher account. As for blog.edufire.com, we’re re-doing it right now and will have it up soon. |

Here’s a bug: I am trying to accept friend requests and cant. When I click accept it takes me to a login page saying that I did something to make Edufire mad and that I need to sign in before doing that. (even though I was already signed in). Not sure what to do…I wanna make friends!!! :) |

I think I found one: Now that I’am posting here, I guess I’ll lost the bug. |

Hi Diego, Good catch. I’ve fixed the link so that it only has a single protocol prefix. And yes, by posting in the forum, you’ve effectively hidden the bug from yourself. Regards, Jared |
