I have a session in 15 min and my video won’t show. I have gone through the settings, and it is fine (I see my beautiful face LOL) but when I log on to do the session there is just a black square instead of my feed. What do I do? |

Does the video appear at all? Sometimes lag causes it not to show immediately. Let us know! I had two sessions earlier this evening (my evening) back to back and they were fine. |

I have no video…still waiting. My student hasn’t joined the session either. Not sure if she forgot or if there’s a problem on her end too |

I started my camera from my desktop icon, then re-entered the session, but still a big black box…my camera light is on. |

and yet in the testing tool it’s totally fine?? |

Tracy have you restarted the PC? Sometimes it just needs that as a first stage as it resets everything. |

I’ve had this problem, usually restarting the PC helps and I usually test the video on a different program too if possible. Hope you can solve this issue Tracy, if you need to test, let me know, I’ll request an introduction from my student’s profile. Sue |

Evidently Amy was in the room and so was I but it never showed up that anyone was there with me. Plus never got the video going. :( |

I had the same problem less than an hour ago. First, my student didn’t know how to (or couldn’t, I’m not sure) join the chat room, then I lost my video while waiting for him and finally his computer crashed trying to find his way around edufire. |
