I want to thank all of you who have already welcomed me to eduFire, and invite everyone else to take a look at my profile.
Currently I reside in Chicago, Illinois USA (hometown of Senator Barack Obama). For 20 years I lived permanently in Bali Indonesia and I still have a home there. I have a 14 year-old daughter who is in school in Bali, therefore I return “home” to Bali several times a year (usually twice during the winter and once over the summer).

I speak, read and write Bahasa Indonesia fluently and I can easily communicate in some of the local “tribal” dialects of Indonesia such as Bahasa Bali (4 dialects) and Bahasa Jawa (2 dialects) so I guess you could say I’m fond of the local slang.

If you are planning to travel to Asia, especially anywhere in Indonesia, or if you have ANY questions about the religious faiths of Indonesia please contact me. In my profile you will see that I have a background in Medicine and the Arts as well as Business. Fairly well rounded I guess.

Teachers and students feel free to contact me! I’m excited to be on this site with you. I have already created my first flashcard set: Numbers/Counting 1-10 with phonetic translations for easy learning.
